Bergamont E-Cargoville LJ 70 white/black

The "E-Cargoville LJ 70 white/black" model from Bergamont, released in 2020, is a high-quality electric cargo bike designed specifically for transporting goods. It is available for €5,399. The bike’s frame is made from a lightweight AL-6061 tube set and features a load area measuring 70 x 45 cm. The PowerTube battery is cleverly integrated into the frame, contributing to an aesthetic and functional design. The bike’s total weight is 44 kg.

Safety and control are ensured by the Magura braking system. This comprises CMe5 hydraulic disc brakes with Storm rotors, each measuring 180 mm in diameter at both the front and rear. The gear system is a continuously variable Enviolo CA, operated via the Enviolo controller. The fork is a reinforced rigid fork of the BGM Cargo type.

The lighting comprises a B&M IQ-XS front light with 70 lux and LED technology, which was developed specifically for e-bikes, as well as a B&M Bergamont Special LED rear light integrated into the mudguard. The pedals are made from trekking-grade aluminium.

The bottom bracket is a Bosch Isis model. The crankset is an FSA CK-320 with 38 teeth, whilst the Enviolo sprocket has 20 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z1eHX Wide EPT chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a rise of 5 mm, and the grips are Ergon GP10. The stem is adjustable and incorporates the Bosch Kiox display. The headset consists of an FSA NO.57 A-Headset, which is semi-integrated and tapered, and an FSA IS-3E A-Headset with a 1-1/8" diameter in the head tube.

The rims are Mach 1 Kargo Disc rims, which are eyeleted, and the tyres are Schwalbe Super Moto-X Greenguard in sizes 61-406 at the front and 61-559 at the rear. The front hub is a BGM Pro 6-hole disc hub with a 15x100 mm axle, and the rear hub is an Enviolo CA 6-hole disc hub. The spokes are Sapim Leader.

The saddle is an Ergon ST10, fitted to a BGM Pro seatpost. The mudguards are aluminium mudguards developed specifically for this model, with stainless steel struts. The kickstand is a BGM Custom Cargo double-leg centre stand.

The E-Cargoville LJ 70 is powered by a fourth-generation Bosch Drive Unit Cargo Line motor with an output of 250 W at 36 V and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The battery has a capacity of 625 Wh and is a Bosch 36 V Li-ion PowerTube battery. The display is a Bosch Kiox, which clearly shows all the key information.
