The “E-Cargoville Bakery Expert” model from Bergamont, launched in 2022, is a high-quality electric cargo bike that stands out for its robust construction and versatile features. Priced at EUR 4,099, this e-bike offers a solid combination of performance and functionality.

The frame of the E-Cargoville Bakery Expert is made from lightweight AL-6061 aluminium and is fitted with heavy-duty front and rear luggage racks. The bike features a PowerPack battery and can carry a maximum gross weight of up to 180 kg, whilst weighing 33 kg itself.

Braking performance is provided by Magura MT30 hydraulic disc brakes, with a 4-piston caliper at the front and a 2-piston caliper at the rear. The brake discs measure 203 mm at the front and 180 mm at the rear. Gears are changed using a Shimano Nexus SL-C7000 5-speed twist-grip shifter. The BGM Cargo rigid fork is extra-strong to meet the demands of a cargo bike.

The BGM Pro handlebars are riser bars with a 30° backsweep and a 5 mm rise. The grips are Ergon GC10, which ensure a high level of comfort. The Satori Python stem is adjustable, allowing for individual customisation of the riding position. The Cane Creek Visco-Set headset is semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Ryde Andra 40 Disc rims, fitted with Schwalbe Pick-Up Super Defence tyres in size 60-559. The front hub is a BGM Pro Cargo with a 15x110 mm axle and four-bearing construction; the rear hub is a Shimano Nexus SG-C7000-5 with a freehub and Centre Lock disc. The spokes are Sapim Leader.

The Syncros Capilano Urban saddle with memory foam and the BGM Pro seatpost provide additional comfort. Curana Apollo mudguards with stainless steel struts protect against dirt and moisture. The Ursus Jumbo Evo double-leg stand ensures stability, even when heavily laden.

The luggage racks are BGM Custom Carriers at both the front and rear, fitted with the Atran AVS system and an ‘easy fit’ window for the Thule Yepp (rear). Power is provided by a third-generation Bosch Performance Line Cruise motor with 250 W output and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The battery is a Bosch PowerPack featuring 36 V Li-ion technology and a capacity of 500 Wh. The Bosch Intuvia display provides all key information at a glance, whilst the Bosch Standard Charger with 4A ensures fast charging times.
