Advanced EcoBike

The 2022 EcoBike model from Advanced is a well-equipped e-bike that, at a price of 4,299 EUR, falls within the mid-range price bracket. The frame is made from a Composite V-Frames V1, ensuring a sturdy yet lightweight construction. For safety and control whilst riding, Shimano MT-420 brakes are fitted, offering reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Deore 11-speed system, which, together with the Shimano Deore 11-speed shifters, enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The Suntour XCR34 fork, with 80 mm of travel, ensures comfort on uneven terrain and effectively absorbs shocks. Lighting is provided by the Lezyne Ebike Mini StvZo E65 front light, which delivers 65 lux and 210 lumens, as well as the Trelock LS 621 DUO FLAT rear light, which is suitable for e-bikes with 6–12V DC. The black Marwi 2160 pedals are suitable for both MTB and trekking and offer good grip.

Power is transmitted via a chain, and the Shimano M5100 cassette, with 11 speeds and a range of 11–42t, ensures efficient power transfer. The bike’s stem is an Ergotec Octopus 2, whilst the headset is an Acros AZX-212 R5 Medium. The 28-inch Rival26 rims are fitted with 55-622 Contact Cruiser tyres, which ensure good road holding.

The front hub is a Shimano 15x110 400B and the rear hub is a Shimano 9x135 4050 CL. The saddle is the Varese model in black, mounted on an Ergotec Atar seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm. The saddle clamp is integrated, contributing to the sleek look. The aluminium mudguard set for 29-inch wheels provides effective protection against splashes and dirt.

A PL1 luggage rack with a platform is also included, making the EcoBike a practical everyday companion. Power is provided by a Bosch Performance Line CX mid-drive motor with an output of 250W and a torque of 85 Nm. The Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensures a sufficient range, whilst the Bosch Kiox display clearly shows all the important information. Overall, the EcoBike from Advanced offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and functionality, ideal for both everyday use and longer rides.
