If you want to change the brake pads, you have to remove the wheels. No big deal, you might think. But unnecessary, say the developers of the Goose Disc Tool, because it allows you to push back the brake pistons when the wheels are mounted. We tried it out and it really is child's play. I tore the rubber, but it doesn't play an important role. In short: Three mechanics tested the tool on different brakes and it worked well. Our verdict: "Nice to have", but certainly not a must-have. It's more for travelling, but it's a bit clunky for that. Available for two and four-piston brakes.
