Recall: Magura replaces MT6 and MT8 brake models
The Swabian hydraulic experts are recalling brake levers from the MT6 and MT8 models. The brakes can fail at low temperatures and under prolonged load.
Only MT6 and MT8 brakes with production numbers up to 20531 are affected, as are all MT6 and MT8 brakes without a production number. The production number is lasered onto the brake calliper. Information on processing: http://www.magura.com/de/austausch-mt/start.html
Production numbers from 20601 upwards, as well as other types of the MT disc brake family, such as MT4, MT2, MTC, MTS and MT Custom, are not affected by the replacement measures!
The affected brakes should no longer be used for safety reasons.
