Endurance test: Brake Trickstuff Cleg 2
Thanks to its unbeatable looks, the golden Cleg 2 quickly became an eye-catcher on my bike. Unfortunately, I had to take a look at the stoppers more often than I would have liked because of their function.

In addition to the somewhat restrained braking power, the lever width adjustment was particularly annoying. The locking screw on the front brake came loose several times, causing the lever to move further and further towards the handlebars. After around 150 kilometres, the rear pressure point deteriorated, which could not be remedied even by bleeding the air. In the end, the only remedy was to adjust the grip width. The Cleg 2 was able to score points with good modulation, the levers are somewhat angular.

CONCLUSIONThe great looks unfortunately can't make up for the functional flaws. Expensive tuning brake with good modulation.
