In the brake test of the 2008 disc stoppers, the Magura Louise did not perform particularly well. One of the main points of criticism was the extremely narrow lever, which cut uncomfortably into the hand. Magura reacted and changed the lever. This immediately had a noticeable effect on handling. The new one is much more ergonomic in the hand. The braking phase is very important with the brakes; only when the brakes are really hot do they develop their full power. Then it reliably stops even heavy bikers with a 180 mm disc.
