The BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma 2017 leads from Mayrhofen to Riva del Garda. The stage locations are known, here are the details of the route.

A few weeks ago, the stage locations for the upcoming BIKE Transalp powered by Sigma The individual routes of the seven-day mountain bike stage race for teams of two, which will take place for the 20th time from 16 to 22 July 2017, have now also been announced.

On their way from Mayrhofen to Riva del Garda, the participants of the anniversary edition will tackle well-known classics such as the Pfitscherjoch or Munt da Rina, but will also conquer completely unknown terrain towards the end of the week-long MTB stage race. A total of 539.80 km and 18185 metres in altitude have to be conquered.

"We had a clear idea when planning the route for the anniversary edition: we wanted to offer participants a full dose of mountain biking on the most beautiful routes in the Alps over seven days. We wanted a route that was worthy of a milestone anniversary. We succeeded," explains race director Marc Schneider.

Interest is correspondingly high: several hundred mountain bikers have already registered for the 2017 season highlight. Under online-registration.com registration is still possible.
