MAXXIS BIKE Transalp 2022 with new route highlights

The most popular mountain bike stage race in Europe will enter its 24th round in 2022. Hundreds of mountain bike enthusiasts from more than 35 nations take part in the BIKE Transalp adventure every year.

This year, 566 kilometres and 18,400 metres in altitude lie between the start in Lienz and the finish in Riva del Garda. The 2022 route once again has some interesting new features. For example, the BIKE Transalp will start in East Tyrol for the first time, travelling to the Eisack Valley from St. Vigil and combining the frequently visited towns of Kaltern and San Martino di Castrozza into one stage for the first time.
