Test editor Max covered 100,000 metres on his endurance test trail bike last season. Can you top that? Then get in touch with us.
BIKE is looking for reader bikes that are ridden a lot. Regardless of whether you ride every day, collect metres in altitude or metres in depth - get in touch with us! We will present the most exciting bikes in BIKE 1/2023.

There are mountain bikes that simply have to do more than others: more kilometres, more vertical metres or more vertical metres. BIKE is looking for exactly these silent heroes of our sport. Do you have such a bike in your fleet that is ridden a lot? Then get in touch by 30 October 2022 with a Photo of your bike and the indication of the annual mileage in kilometres and altitude/depth metres by e-mail:

Long distances, big mountains

In BIKE issue 1/2023, we would like to introduce the frequent mountain bikers and their bikes and show what makes our readers' equipment real endurance runners. What do bikes look like that are used every day and therefore have 200,000 kilometres or more on the clock? What is special about a mountain bike that climbs 150,000 metres or more in a year? How do readers set up their all-mountain or enduro bike for 100,000 metres of downhill madness?

Where are the bikes in constant use?

However, we are not only interested in the bare driving performance. Perhaps you commute 20 kilometres to work every day and are also out and about in storms, snow and rain? Bikes that have faithfully and regularly accompanied their owners through the winter for years also count as frequent riders. Get in touch and tell us what makes your bike a frequent rider!
