Bike of the Year 2020 - the winners
13857 readers took part in our big reader survey in 2020 and voted for the Bikes of the Year, among other things. Here are the winners in the categories Hardtail, Marathon, Trailbike, All Mountain and Enduro.

Who are you, what do you want, what makes you tick? As every year, the big BIKE reader survey helped us to get to know you better as readers. Almost 14000 readers took part. This allows us to tailor our magazine even better to you and offer the content you want to read.

The Bikes of the Year 2020: Santa Cruz, Cube, Specialized and Trek

A positive side effect: the survey also provided the perfect opportunity to select the bikes of the year. Quite democratically, by reader vote. From February to May, we put five models selected by the editorial team and newly presented for 2020 to you to vote for in five categories: hardtails, marathon bikes, trail bikes, all-mountain bikes and enduro bikes. Now you have decided: Santa Cruz, Specialized and Trek are the winners, while Cube can look forward to two victories. These are the bikes of the year 2020!

Adrian Kaether's favourite thing to do is ride mountain bikes on bumpy enduro trails. The tech expert and bike tester knows all about Newton metres and watt hours, high and low-speed damping. As test manager at MYBIKE, Adrian also likes to think outside the box and tests cargo bikes and step-through bikes as well as the latest (e-)MTBs.
