Stages Dash: now in colour and with navigation
The training and power meter experts from Stages Cycling are launching two new GPS computers for 2019. In addition to the training modes, the L50 and M50 stand out with their colour display and GPS navigation.

If you train with a power measurement crank and according to a strict plan, you need an easy-to-read, reliable bike computer that feeds you with performance data. That's why the Americans from Stages Cycling has launched the Dash, a suitable product for its power meters. The Dash series is growing for 2019: the current Dash will be called the L10 (€149) and is getting a facelift. The two new models, the Dash L50 and M50, are equipped with a colour display, GPS features and graphical training functions.

High-resolution colour display and new training displays

The larger Stages Dash L50 has a housing measuring 8.5 x 5.8 cm, has 16 GB of memory on board and the battery runs for 18 hours. This makes the Dash L50 a little larger than the current Dash and weighs 110 grams. The biggest innovation: a brilliant, high-resolution colour display ("EverBrite"), which is still perfectly legible even in the strongest sunlight. Seamless compatibility with all Stages powermeters and the Stages Link online training platform is a matter of course. The new models are also compatible with a wide range of third-party applications and support ANT+ or BTLE-based sensors from third-party providers, including smart trainers or electronic drives. Customised configuration of the data fields helps you to keep an eye on your training parameters at all times. New displays with colourful diagrams are also new for the L50 and M50. The Dash L50 will be available from specialist retailers from autumn 2018 for EUR and the smaller Dash M50 for EUR 240. Both devices are factory-fitted with OSM-based base maps and support the GPX, TCX and FIT file formats. Additional maps can be downloaded free of charge via the Stages platform. Both new Stages Dash computers are supplied with a lightweight, robust aluminium mount, which is a long-lasting upgrade compared to the plastic mounts.

The current Dash will continue to be available as an entry-level version. In future, it will be called the L10 and will cost 149 euros. If you can do without the comprehensive navigation modes, you get a top training computer with more than 20 hours of battery life at a fair price.Photo: Hersteller The current Dash will continue to be available as an entry-level version.
