Log in to the portal, connect the device to the internet, install the firmware and you're ready to go. During registration, the Hammerhead Karoo 2 transfers the first suitable maps to the 32 GB memory by entering the location. Thanks to the SIM slot, the Hammerhead can also save updates, new maps and routes via mobile phone when you are on the move. If you swipe down with your finger on the high-resolution 3.2-inch display of the Karoo 2, you can access the settings without any detours - just like on a mobile phone. For example, the screen brightness can be easily adjusted.

On the other hand, we missed an automatic brightness mode that saves battery power. If you reduce the backlight, you can also survive long day trips. The touchscreen responds very well even when wearing gloves and in wet conditions. The Karoo 2 communicates with fitness components such as watt pedals, heart rate monitors etc. via Bluetooth or ANT+. Once the navigation is running, it is almost impossible to get lost. Striking information banners constantly indicate changes of direction and the route guidance is also very precise.
