They've come up with something new in Japan. Not a new gear system, but a line of rucksacks that are perfectly tailored to the needs of bikers.

The four models of the new bike backpack and bag product line are expected to be available from October 2012. The developers have attached great importance to ensuring that the products fit the body perfectly in the riding position. Innovative and lightweight materials are intended to ensure high quality and low stress for the biker. Two rucksacks were initially designed for mountain bike use.

The top model ACCU3D UNZEN is designed to provide plenty of freedom of movement and good ventilation thanks to a special harness system. The UNZEN will be available in three colours and three sizes (6 l, 10 l, 15 l) and will be equipped with a hydration system. The top model will also be equipped with many useful details, such as a protector compartment, side access and tool pockets.

With its 12 litres, the ROKKO is primarily aimed at day tourers. It is also prepared for the use of hydration systems. However, the hydration system will be available separately.

The two models TSUKINIST and OASKA are aimed at urban nomads. The spacious TSUKINIST will be available with 20 or 30 litres of storage space and is primarily intended to accompany commuters on their way to work. It is equipped with practical details such as a laptop compartment and smartphone pocket. The OSAKA messenger bag was named after Shimano's city of origin and, with its well thought-out organiser system and a choice of 25 or 35 litre capacity, is designed to meet the zeitgeist of bicycle-friendly cities.
