If you're in the saddle for a long time, you need to eat and drink a lot. And if you want to ride fast for a long time, you can't dismount for a food break: This is where the Restrap Race Hydration waistcoat with various pockets for snacks and a large hydration bladder comes in handy. So you have everything close to hand - from energy bars to a rear light. And of course your mobile phone...

This feature-packed hydration pack is specifically designed to meet the needs of riders who need to carry extra nutrition and hydration on long, lonely rides and ultra-endurance races. The Race Hydration Vest is made from durable, high-quality materials and has been developed with direct feedback from a team of athletes.

One of these athletes is Josh Reid. In an event organised by Restrap called the North Race, in which Josh Reid cycled 506 kilometres in 24 hours, he only stopped for 62 minutes in total. And that was thanks to Restrap's hydration waistcoat, in which he carried all his food and drink, thus minimising his stop times.

The Restrap Race hydration waistcoat: close to the body

With a focus on functionality, the Restrap Race hydration waistcoat is specially designed for refuelling on the bike. The high placement on the back is designed to maximise comfort in the riding position and still allow you to reach your jersey pockets while riding. It has also been designed in a truly unisex design - comfort for all genders and body types.

The Race Hydration Vest has three adjustment points - the sides, shoulders and chest. The closure system on the chest offers five adjustment points in height, with an elasticated strap in width. There is an integrated whistle for safety and an easy-to-use buckle that is designed to work even when wearing gloves.

What fits in the Restrap bike rucksack with hydration bladder?

The Restrap bike backpack is equipped with a 2-litre hydration bladder and has an expandable interior so that the hydration bladder is always optimally held in place. The back of the pack has two stretchy mesh pockets that can hold two more water bottles and webbing loops that can be used to attach other items such as a race tracker or rear light.

The front of the pack has easily accessible mesh pockets that can also hold a water bottle and/or snacks. A zip pocket with a key clip on the inside can be used to store small items such as valuables. The zip has a large loop that can be gripped even when wearing gloves.

The double-sided guide system for the hydration tube and an adjustable magnetic clip keep everything organised and tidy on the chest because nothing is dangling around. In addition, reflective zips, logos and webbing details increase visibility from all directions.
