The Victoria Fybron 6 is one of the few carbon SUV bikes on the market. Is it any good? And are there any other highlights of this e-bike?

The Range Rover shows how it's done: fine and yet something for the rough and tumble. The appearance of this carbon SUV: organic, soft frame shape, colour gradient in the paintwork, elegant, minimalist design. Many components are also refined: The fork was specially developed for E-SUVs, responds reliably and is more torsion-resistant than many others. The rather hard saddle and the almost straight 75-centimetre handlebars make it clear that Victoria also has sporty customers in mind. The riding position is relaxed, but already rather sporty, the front wheel is given more weight and therefore more directional stability. There is no adjustability on the stem and no suspension seat post.

Victoria Fybron 6: The highlights of the SUV e-bike

If you're also looking for a pannier bike for gravel and dirt tracks, the Victoria Fybron, which weighs just 26kg, is a good choice. However, our bulging panniers put pressure on the mounting struts of the tightly dimensioned mudguard, so that it occasionally comes into contact with the tyres: the luggage rack, which is stable in itself, has a narrow mounting area and little lateral support towards the wheel. Therefore: Test your own pannier when test riding!

The handling of the Victoria Fybron 6 is pleasing. The tyres have a central tread for a smooth, easy ride on tarmac; on dirt tracks you can still really step on the gas thanks to the rough side lugs. This and the good suspension balance create a great feeling of safety. Slalom and straight-line stability: excellent. The much-praised Performance CX e-bike motor from Bosch is not always the quietest, but it is harmonious and one of the most powerful. Another highlight: the high beam front light from Busch & Müller with 130 lux, which can be switched on using the handlebar button. 5999 euros is a lot of money, but you also get a lot of fine carbon fibre and smooth running with less weight.

How do you like this article?
The lightweight Victoria Fybron is aimed at dirt track fans, but is an all-rounder in terms of suspension. You sacrifice some seating comfort for sportiness, but not great handling. Test the panniers!
