We have tried to filter out nine models from the multitude of touring bikes that are particularly good at something. And that don't cost the earth. We would like to introduce you to these bikes with their harmonious concepts as examples of a successful touring bike.

The primary criteria for our selection were a stable frame, gears suitable for climbing, a reliable braking system and a pannier rack. The touring bike should also cut a good figure in everyday life. Therefore, depending on the type of bike, lights, mudguards, kickstand or frame lock were also welcome criteria. Furthermore, we orientated ourselves on a very good price-performance ratio.

The bikes in the test:

Stevens Galant Lite Gents

Giant CSL LDS

Radon TCS 9.0 Disc Midseason

Bergamont Prime Speed Tour

Focus Jarifa

Cannondale Trekking Ultra

Gazelle Fuente Gold Line

Koga Miyata Lightrunner Purple

VSF Fahrradmanufaktur T-900
