The Stevens E-Strada e-bike is based on a newly designed, lightweight aluminium frame with sporty geometry. The compact 250 Wh battery sits inconspicuously in the slim down tube. The Mahle X35+ e-drive is concealed in the rear wheel. The lightweight counterpart to our test winner, the Stevens E-Courier.
On the Stevens E-Strada 7.3.4 FEQ, a Pinion C1.9 gearbox in combination with the Gates carbon belt ensure low maintenance and a long service life. For year-round commuters, the E-Strada is equipped with the complete touring kit, consisting of mudguards, Ortlieb QL3.1-compatible pannier rack and powerful Supernova Mini 2 headlight.
The Stevens E-Strada 6.3.4 FEQ with 2x11 derailleur gears from Shimano is primarily aimed at sporty riders who want to make rapid progress on their commute. However, the wide gear range with high climbing gears is also suitable for extended weekend tours. This e-bike model is also equipped with the touring kit, consisting of mudguards, pannier rack and powerful lighting system.
The control unit is inconspicuously integrated into the top tube. A coloured LED ring around the on/off button indicates the selected support level, the remaining battery capacity and any Bluetooth connection with a smartphone for recording ride data with the Mahle My Smartbike app.
The E-Strada models from Stevens will be available from summer 2023.
