Chic, minimalist and technically innovative: this is how the Ludwig XIV from newcomer Schindelhauer Bikes presents itself.

However, 14 Rohloff gears are not the only parallel to its absolutist namesake. A certain penchant for luxury cannot be overlooked either.

As austere as a sculpture, as bling-bling as a gangster cart, as constructivist as an architectural study. The Schindelhauer bike also bears the name of the French "Sun King" Louis Quatorze, whose ostentatious appearance corresponded exactly to his absolutist position. From the matt brushed aluminium mudguards, polished Hochschulter rims, hubs and cockpit, to the elegantly pre-aged leather saddle or the seat post with integrated LED light - the bike with the great name is luxurious in the sense of "doesn't really need it". The Edelux lighting system already has it in its name. But: everything is also simply beautiful. And nothing is purely visual; function is at least as important to the young team.
