The average city cyclist ideally travels by city bike. The comfort and universal usability of the bike are the reason why it is so popular with everyday cyclists. With the NCM C7, Leon Cycle is now presenting just such a touring bike. The special feature of the city bike is the new torque sensor, which is set to revolutionise drive systems.
Silent power assistance is provided by the 250-watt Das Kit X2 rear motor in conjunction with the torque sensor. Depending on how hard you pedal, the 36V motor works more or less intensively. Logically, this also conserves the battery. As usual, the motor supports the rider up to 25 km/h on the NCM C7. A 504 Wh lithium-ion battery with a range of up to 120 kilometres is installed in the down tube of the touring bike so that you can rely on the motor even on longer rides. This can be easily removed - for charging or to prevent theft.
The e-bike also advertises its low weight: at 18 kilograms (excluding battery (approx. 3kg)), the touring bike can be described as "lightweight". The NCM C7 is fitted with Gemma hydraulic disc brakes, which promise low maintenance. Pannier bags can be attached to the pannier rack on both sides for transporting all kinds of small items. The bike is available with a matt one-surface paint finish in the colours black, white and brick red. Available now for 1,399 euros on the Leon-Cycle-Homepage available.
