With the Koga Pace B10 Suspension, the traditional brand has succeeded in creating an elegant, almost off-road interpretation of the SUV bike. What does this mean for the practical use of the black and red e-bike?

Despite all the tradition, innovation is not neglected in the "Dutch classic" Koga, keyword: frame-integrated daytime running light in the steering head - chic! Koga has always endeavoured to create its own elegant style: the rigid aluminium frame not only shines with a fine metallic finish, the tube transitions, so softly shaped and finely polished, look almost organic. Under the flat stem, the cables and wires are hidden inside the frame of the SUV bike. The wide Schwalbe Super Moto tyres and the Suntour suspension fork also ensure comfort.

Koga Pace B10 Suspension: Little off-road for the e-bike

Incidentally, the Koga Pace B10 Suspension is the only e-bike in the test that is equipped with belts and Enviolo gears - low maintenance as a unique selling point. This is complemented by a powerful Bosch Performance CX motor with Smart System. Formula Cura 4 brakes with 180 mm discs at the front provide the necessary deceleration with fine modulation. A Racktime system carrier enables many types of load to be carried via adapter points and also via a tensioning strap.

The actual SUV bike can't keep up when the dirt tracks get too rough or wet. This is mainly due to the studless Schwalbe tyres, which roll excellently on asphalt and contribute a lot to the smooth running of the well-balanced bike. The bike is not a sporting machine, but the handling is impressive with its manoeuvrability and straight-line stability in the city and on the cycle highway.

The continuously variable Enviolo, the suspension fork and the rather upright riding position provide all-round riding pleasure - ergonomic fine-tuning is possible with the short, adjustable stem. The short-term lock also hints at the bike's everyday use. Uncomfortable is the unlocking of the battery low down on the front of the motor bridge, here you basically get dirty. However, garage chargers can refuel the 750 watt-hour battery via the socket on the control head. The e-bike should be barrier-free, as the Koga weighs a good 30 kilos. The version with Enviolo and belt currently costs a whopping 4999 euros.

If you don't fancy adventures on rough terrain, the Koga Pace B10 is a high-quality, low-maintenance and well-balanced e-bike with Bosch's best and classy image.
