If you are looking for a lightweight pedelec with high riding comfort and balanced riding characteristics, the Iseo is the perfect partner. The extremely responsive RST air suspension fork and the voluminous tyres secure the bike's comfort victory. It is all the more remarkable that the bike weight is still in the midfield of our test despite the heavy fork.
Iseo riders sit comfortably, the handlebars are pleasantly offset and the hands rest on ergonomic grips. If you prefer a sportier ride, you can have spacers removed from the steerer tube. The Coboc rolls extremely manoeuvrable, is agile and responds directly to the input on the handlebars. The hub motor in the rear wheel takes about a quarter of a turn of the crank before it starts up. Nevertheless, it switches off immediately when you stop pedalling. A push button under the top tube brings it to life, while five inconspicuous LEDs on the top tube indicate the support level and charge status.
The eleven-speed rear derailleur from SRAM is finely tuned. Visually, the Coboc Iseo Emerald offers treats such as a rear light integrated into the seat tube and pannier stays adapted to the radius of the rear wheel.
