Claim: indestructible!
It should work always and everywhere - this is the motto behind an Idworx bike. The latest model, Off Rohler, designed as a touring bike for unpaved routes, fulfils this requirement with the usual aplomb.

Even with a careful search, there is no weak point to be found. If you've always wanted to pedal around the world, all you have to do is attach the panniers to the Off Rohler.

On the Off Rohler there is a vast number of details that deviate from the usual standard. However, this touring bike for rough terrain is even more than the sum of its parts. What initially appears simple on the Off Rohler requires more constructive work than you might realise from the outside.

The initial idea was to build a touring bike that could also easily tackle unpaved routes. It had to be as low-maintenance and robust as possible, which is why Gaastra has dispensed with any mechanical suspension elements. You won't even find a suspended seat post on the Off Rohler. The suspension is provided solely by the thick tyres, a concept that Gaastra already developed with the first Balloon bikes together with Schwalbe and which is consistently continued here.
