Decathlon is recalling a series of the Van Rysel Endurance road bike EDR CF Ultra. The reason is a faulty stem assembly. Bikes purchased between 1 July 2025 and 18 March 2026 are affected. The repair will be carried out free of charge in Decathlon shops.

According to the report, quality controls at Van Rysel have uncovered a faulty stem assembly. The company is asking owners of the affected Endurance racing bike to stop using the bike. The assembly error affects two reference numbers of the EDR CF Ultra 105 Di2The recall affects bikes purchased between 1 July 2025 and 18 March 2026.

Installation errors and consequences

An additional spacer has been fitted to the stem. This deviation can cause the stem to twist. In the long term, there is a risk of damage to the steerer tube. Decathlon has initiated the recall as a preventive measure; no accidents or damage have been reported to date.

Repair and contact

According to Decathlon, affected customers have been informed by email, telephone, via the website and via notices in the shops. Repairs will be carried out free of charge at the Decathlon shop service points. A customer service hotline is available Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm on +49 0 6202 97 81 300.
