This is what winners look like - Eurobike Awards 2019

The Eurobike Awards have been presented: The winners impressed the jury with both their uniqueness and the consistency with which ideas and projects were thought through to the end.

The Eurobike Award gives the bike industry an initial overview of the most important innovations for the coming season and is eagerly awaited by the entire bike and accessories industry. At Eurobike 2019, 43 products were able to impress and were honoured with this coveted award.

This year, 366 products from different categories were scrutinised by the jury - consisting of six industry experts. The products were analysed and evaluated on the basis of various criteria. A total of 43 ideas and products won the selection process for the Eurobike Award, nine of which were honoured with the Gold Award and five with the Start-Up Award. We have already presented the winners of these awards separately in this article: All Eurobike Gold and Start-Up Awards at a glance.

Here is a summary of the other 30 Eurobike Award winners 2019:

AWARD WINNER - Greyp G 6.2 Manufacturer: Greyp Statement from the Eurobike Award jury: "This unusual and innovative design comes from a young Croatian company. We particularly liked the range of digital gadgets and the sophisticated engineering work."

An RFID chip provides the rescue services with the most important medical data of the accident victim. It can be read directly on site, which can speed up medical assistance enormously."

There's a lot of fun to be had - especially when it comes to programming the large 'neon sign area' at the back of the head."

The great thing about it is that the Munich-based company works with a good 80 partners in Germany who pass the bikes on to the customer. Up to 40 per cent below the new price, but with a two-year warranty on the battery and motor. We think that's unique."
