At first glance, the REDEMPTIONe reveals itself as a classic all-mountain and trail bike with 150 millimetres of travel at the front and 140 at the rear. How the Decree it rolls on "normal" 27.5 inch wheels. According to Felt the new rear triangle - a classic four-bar linkage - should be particularly efficient. It should be possible to use very little compression damping in the shock, which should increase the sensitivity of the rear triangle.
Felt has also opted for a one-piece sand-cast node that unites the motor mount and the seat tube to further increase rigidity. Felt has also focussed on increased frame stiffness and better motor protection during development. Naturally, the rear triangle comes in Boost. The geometry is also based on the Decree trail bike. The customer can choose between three models, but the drive is the same everywhere: Bosch Performance CX drive with 500 Wh battery. All bikes are expected to be available from mid-September in sizes S to XL.
The cheapest model for 4499 euros has a Rock Shox Yari suspension fork and a Monarch RT shock. The gears are shifted by a Shimano SLX rear derailleur (10-speed) and the brakes are also Shimano SLX.
