The Univega Alpina HT-560 is a manoeuvrable, agile all-rounder. Weight and equipment are average.

Surprisingly manoeuvrable, but not nervous even at high speed, the Univega circled around the tight hairpin bends. The lively demeanour is not surprising due to the steep steering angle of 71.5 degrees. The riding position on the Alpina HT-560 is sportily stretched due to the rather long top tube and the super-short head tube (115 millimetres). This has a positive effect on the climbing characteristics, but is not enough for a top position on the downhill. Light and shade in the equipment: While the Schwalbe tyre combination rolls and grips reliably, the Shimano stoppers could be a little more powerful. Little has changed in the frame design compared to its predecessor, and the shifting components have even improved a little.
