Trek 6300
The Trek 6300 is average at best, it's better to add 100 euros for the 6500 model.

Trek's 6-series is still almost at the beginning at 999 euros. With its fresh, stylish appearance, the 6300 glosses over the generally weak spec. The riding position puts the muscles of the upper body and arms to the test, as you sit so stretched out on the 12.5-kilo bike. However, a shorter stem quickly alleviates this problem. The heavy wheels (4636 grams) also put a strain on the thighs. On the other hand, the smooth and stable steering saves energy on easy, fast descents. However, if you invest 100 euros more, you are guaranteed not to go wrong with the 6500 model: a much better fork and higher quality components (gears, tyres) are the key to a lighter, significantly better bike.

PLUS Lifetime guarantee on the frame, harmonious look
MINUS Heavy wheels, stretched seating position

Tuning tip Shorter stem, lightweight tubes/tyres

ConclusionThe 6300 is average at best, better spend 100 euros on the 6500 model.
