The Dutch titanium bike specialist is right up with the times Van Nicholas this autumn. The custom bike scene reacted very early to the new trend towards plus-size tyres and Van Nicholas can already present a titanium bike with three-inch tyres.
Revelstroke is the name of the new gem from the luxury forge, which is available with 27.5 plus tyres and as a conventional 29-inch bike. However, it is not just the tyres that are striking, but also the rear triangle, whose seat stays in a triple-triangle design are a real eye-catcher - the legendary cult hardtail GT Zaskar sends its regards. The weight for the 29-inch version with suspension fork is 10.94 kilograms, the 27.5+ bike weighs 12.44 kilograms with suspension fork (weights for 18-inch version). Weights for the rigid fork versions are not yet known.
If this is still too conventional for you, you can also order the Van Nicholas Revelstroke with a single-arm titanium rigid fork in a trellis tube design. Then there is guaranteed to be no more confusion. For those looking for a little more comfort, Van Nicholas offers a Fox 32 Float Factory Kashima for the 27.5 plus version. For the 29-inch version, you can choose between different fork models from Rock Shox and Fox. Prices for complete bikes start at 3618 euros, while the frame alone costs 2099 euros. A moderate price considering the material.
