Titanium and children's bike prototypes on Lake Garda
Vpace, the specialists for children's bikes and titanium bikes, have arrived at Lake Garda with two new MTB models - and some horror news.

Black Friday at VPaceFor reasons as yet unknown, the entire headquarters in Ravensburg has burnt down. The showroom, production and storage areas are covered in a thick layer of ash and the bikes in storage are no longer usable. We get the good news directly at the stand in Riva: VPace will definitely continue.

MAX20 - great fun for the little ones

It would be a shame, as the Ravensburg-based company will be represented at the BIKE Festival with two hot prototypes. With the MAX20, VPace will also be offering a well thought-out and high-quality children's bike for the little ones in the future. The MAX20 is also welded according to the familiar 29er philosophy, so that even bike beginners from a height of 105 centimetres benefit from better rollover behaviour and a more stable riding experience. A low bottom bracket and a low standover height should make the little speedster the perfect base for those first rides.

The MAX20 will be fitted with an aluminium rigid fork as standard and weigh around 7 kilos. The Ravensburg-based company is still testing the gears. One thing is certain so far: there will be ten gears. Whether it will be shifted by trigger or Gripshift is still in question. In addition to the aluminium fork, there will also be a 500 gram carbon fork and a lightweight spinner suspension fork as an option in the future. The price for the MAX20 will probably be around 900 euros.

So that fathers and mothers don't miss out either, there will soon be a further development of the Titan longtravel frame T1LT. With its 67-degree head angle and suspension travel of between 120 and 140 millimetres, the TTrail is based on the well-known carbon hardtail. The 29er frame will weigh around 1700 grams and is designed to accommodate tyres up to 2.6 inches wide.

With the standard frame, the cables are routed externally, with only the cable for the telescopic support hidden in the frame. With the custom option, however, Ravensburger can also fulfil all customer requests - as long as they make sense in the eyes of the manufacturer. The surcharge per modification is 100 euros. The standard frame costs 1300 over the counter. Almost a bargain for a titanium frame.
