Storck Rebel Nine
Very agile thoroughbred racer trimmed to the limit; uncompromising in terms of price and weight.

Uncompromising - in every respect. The racing team version of the Rebel Nine (8.6 kilos) approaches the limits of what is feasible down to a few turns of the cranks. The hands grip handlebar tape instead of grips, the rims roll on tubular tyres and the pedalling is done in exclusive carbon cranks: there is no more that can be done to reduce weight without sacrificing performance. Syntace's P6 Hiflex seatpost transforms an overly stiff "board" into a comfortable racehorse that takes off with a few powerful kicks. Storck shows that you can achieve a stiff chassis even without a thru-axle on the rear wheel. The short wheelbase (1097 mm) makes for playful, manoeuvrable riding with plenty of pressure on the front wheel. The only things missing for unreserved praise are lockout levers on the handlebars and a second bottle cage. Simply uncompromising.
