Stevens Haze SLX
Less playful, smooth-running carbon hardtail with a cleanly finished frame and SLX equipment throughout.

With its long top tube, the Stevens Haze SLX offers the rider a sporty, stretched riding position with a not too high saddle rake - and on top of that, the second lightest frame in the test. The overall weight is in the golden mean. For more stability, the down tube of the monocoque frame has been reinforced on the inside with an additional bar (double-chamber). In terms of equipment, Stevens is down-to-earth with the almost universal SLX equipment instead of going for a wild mix. The closed area between the seat stays gives the frame its own character, but could restrict tyre clearance in very muddy conditions. The chainsuck plate is too small.

+ Low frame weight

+ Good tyre combination

- No down tube film

- Narrow handlebars

ConclusionLess playful, smooth-running carbon hardtail with a cleanly finished frame and SLX equipment throughout.
