Hai already sent a 2009 model into the race with the "Q Carbon". The beautifully styled bike, painted in bright white, has a hard time in the laboratory evaluation: The individual-looking frame is the tail light on the scales and lacks some details (chainsuck plate, impact protection, quick-release saddle clamp), the fork lacks the handlebar lockout. The bike rides unspectacularly, seems a little slower than the competition and gives less feedback. This is mainly due to the higher weight (wheels). "Long-distance bomber" is the conclusion of the testers. For the winding test track, they would like a more lively character.
CONCLUSIONS: Clean, elegant look, attractive price. The Hai loves marathon routes more than cross-country courses.
