Scott Scale Elite 29
The Scott Scale Elite is a well-balanced 29er with a great base that lags behind in terms of equipment.

The most expensive of the three aluminium scales has the same frame as last year. Only the Reba fork as the Recon successor and the brake calliper moved to the rear frame triangle upgrade the solid and good-natured 29er. The comparatively meagre equipment is compensated for by the 29er's balanced handling on the trail and the geometry, which is harmonious in every riding position. The Scale's appearance is just as well thought out as its measurements. The perfect cockpit with 85 mm stem and 690 mm handlebars leaves nothing to be desired. The Scale frame therefore offers a good basis for eager tuning and upgrading adventures. Watch out tall and heavy riders: 110-kilo weight limit!

PLUS Balanced geometry, safe handling, good cockpit
MINUS Weak equipment
Tuning tip Lightweight tubes and tyres with Evolution compound

Conclusion: well-balanced 29er bike with a super base that lags behind in terms of equipment.
