Radon ZR Race Hybrid 29" on test
Radon is the only direct mail order company in the test that can equip its ZR with high-quality components and still keep the price low. The whole package is very harmonious.

The tyres on the 29-inch system wheels provide sufficient grip, the handling of the rather small frame is agile, yet the straight-line stability is good and the bike is easy to move thanks to its low weight. The Fox fork does a good job and effectively reduces impacts on the ergonomically well-designed cockpit. Radon also relies on proven material for the drive: the Bosch CX drive with a 15-speed sprocket at the front and an 11-42 cassette at the rear has a good spread and willingly climbs every steep section.

ConclusionRadon has not reinvented the e-bike, but relies on the tried and tested: good components, harmonious frame geometry. The whole thing is available at a top price with direct shipping.
