Radon Black Sin 8.0 29"
A first-class carbon fibre frame with awesome features and great handling: you won't get more for 1999 euros anywhere else.

The Bonn-based mail order company has packed the most affordable of the four Black Sin models with everything that is high-quality and expensive: a complete XT groupset, the SID fork painted in the frame colour and DT Swiss system wheels. The bright carbon fibre frame also embodies the current status quo: Internally routed cables, a thru-axle at the rear and two chainsuck plates can also be found on expensive World Cup bikes. Thanks to the riser bar and a high end spacer, the Black Sin is not quite as sporty as a Canyon or Rose. Nevertheless, you can venture to the starting line on the lightweight 29er. On technical trails at the latest, the Radon makes up valuable seconds with its good-natured, secure handling. The SID fork provides traction at the front, while the Shadow Plus rear derailleur (higher spring tension) ensures less chain slap and a smoother ride.

Conclusion1a carbon fibre frame with awesome features and great handling: you won't get more for 1999 euros anywhere else.

PLUS Pure XT groupset, balanced handling, modern frame
MINUS The front is a little high for racers
