Müsing Offroad Comp
The high front of the Müsing means comfort instead of sport. Thanks to its high-quality equipment, the Offroad Comp is suitable as a travelling and touring hardtail.

Eleven different suspension forks, ten types of wheels and a colour palette like a painter's studio: Müsing bikes are all about variety. With the Offroad Comp alone, countless variants can be put together using the configurator. Our test bike was fitted with a TS-6 suspension fork from Magura. Since the fork is 1.5 centimetres longer than a Rock Shox, the front end with the 130 mm head tube is quite high. This pleases the back of our reader tester Michael with an upright riding position, but torpedoes the climbing characteristics. The Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres also proved their worth on the damp, leafy trails in the Palatinate Forest. When it comes to off-road terrain, the tyre doesn't build up enough grip and is more suitable for gravel tracks or dirt roads. The frame design with classic round tubes is reminiscent of the old days. For touring riders, the Müsing has pannier rack threads.

ConclusionThanks to the high front, the Müsing is all about comfort instead of sport. Thanks to its high-quality equipment, the Offroad Comp is suitable as a travelling and touring hardtail.

PLUS High-quality equipment, good brakes
MINUS Weak tyres, high front, heavy wheels

The Elixir 5 brakes (also on the Bulls) made the best impression in the test field. Top: plenty of braking power and good modulation.Photo: Daniel Simon The Elixir 5 brakes (also on the Bulls) made the best impression in the test field. Top: plenty of braking power and good modulation.
