Marin importer Bernd Adamski had promised a "real bomb". A customised body that really packs a punch. And it worked. Marin's "Team Titanium" reached us weighing nine kilos and equipped with a luxurious - albeit extravagant - cocktail of features. Definitely a setup for real freaks. On the test lap, you feel like you're on a racing bike: a double chainring and narrow slick tyres, a thin carbon seat shell - that will have to do. The frame gets its unmistakable character from the tapered, oval tubes. The mature race geometry has proven itself over the years. Too bad: The decals are only glued on.
CONCLUSION: a classic on the market and still up to date. In the test setup with a narrow application range that takes some getting used to.
