Sporty and slim, yet comfortable and suitable for everyday use: this is how Liv presents the new Tempt E+. The model range, which is now available, comprises two variants: the Tempt E+ and the Tempt E+ EX. Both models have been designed to bridge the gap between everyday practicality and off-road performance and are intended to offer riders the right option for everything from daily commuting to weekend adventures on unpaved roads.

In typical Liv fashion, the Tempt E+ and Tempt E+ EX e-hardtails have been designed specifically for women, which is reflected in the frame geometry and the choice of components such as saddles and grips to ensure optimum comfort, control and fit.

Technical equipment and drive

Both models in the Tempt E+ series are based on a lightweight ALUXX aluminium frame and are equipped with a 100-millimetre suspension fork, which is designed to deliver comfort and agility on both trails and roads. Both versions are powered by the SyncDrive Sport 2 motor with a torque of 75 Nm, which, according to the manufacturer, offers smooth and consistent pedal assistance.

Power is supplied by a removable 430 Wh battery, which is really light at less than 2 kilos. It can be removed from the front in the classic way and is easy to store or charge in all situations. If required, the capacity of the bike can be extended with an optional 200 Wh range extender. This should significantly increase the range for longer tours.

The bikes also feature smart technology with integrated E-Lock and Apple Find My compatibility, which are designed to offer advanced theft protection. The RideControl Dash 2 display shows riding data and enables remote locking and connection to corresponding apps. The highlight among the smart functions is the E-Lock security feature. If the bike is locked, the motor assistance is switched off. An alarm also sounds if the bike is moved unintentionally.

Size concept and geometry

A special feature of the Tempt E+ series is the sophisticated sizing concept with wheel size-dependent geometry. The models are available in several frame sizes, whereby each frame size has been combined with the ideal wheels according to the manufacturer: Sizes XS and S are equipped with 27.5-inch wheels, which should provide more agility and better control for smaller riders. The M and L frame sizes, on the other hand, come with 29-inch wheels, which should offer more speed and stability - a solution that should guarantee the optimum geometry and riding characteristics for every rider.
