The Trigger is just one of over 60 models that Drag produces under its umbrella. Our test bike goes its own way and proves that an entry-level hardtail does not necessarily have to have a 100 millimetre fork and a steep steering angle. The Bulgarians have given their Trigger model range, which goes up to 2500 euros, a 120 mm fork, wide rims and voluminous tyres. This clearly positions the hardtail in the trail corner. With a steering angle of 67.3 degrees and a short 50 mm stem, the Drag can be manoeuvred smoothly.
With its longer fork, wide tyres and dropper post, the Trigger is trimmed for riding fun. However, the high weight and meagre equipment prevent a better judgement and limit the range of action.

Why not free of charge? Because quality journalism has a price. In return, we guarantee independence and objectivity. This applies in particular to the tests in BIKE. We don't pay for them, but the opposite is the case: we charge for them, namely tens of thousands of euros every year.
