Visually a blast, technically mixed with a heavy frame. Ghost only cuts a good figure on easy terrain.
The Ghost SE 1900 wins the prize for the coolest look. Great design, unusual frame shape - a hit on the school playground. The bike is less suitable for off-road riding due to the weak brakes and under-damped fork. The gear/brake lever combination (plastic) is confusing with unergonomic levers and doesn't look very robust. The gear range is weak (30 sprocket) and steep hills show the rider the limits. Plus point: The stable Schwalbe tyres with Puncture Protection casing give a secure feeling on downhill sections.
CONCLUSION: Visually a blast, technically mixed with a heavy frame. Ghost only cuts a good figure on easy terrain.
