BIKE ASSESSMENT: Not a bad start for the brand new 2008 Ghost "RT Lector Worldcup". In the first test run, it barely broke the weight limit, but with a largely standard set-up. The measured values are convincing: the frame is light and stiff enough. The bike is comparatively unspectacular to ride: the riding position is sporty, the steering is manoeuvrable and, apart from the narrow saddle, there is no need to restrict yourself. At 100 millimetres each, the suspension offers the performance that you can also buy in the shop and that has already led professional racer Sabine Spitz to success in the World Cup.

All-round value/suitability for everyday use²: unrestricted suitability.
