The Felt Nine is the only bike with a carbon frame, but at 1899 euros it is also the most expensive bike in the test group. The distance to the competition is visible and measurable, the frame weighs only 1447 grams, details such as the blue spokes, blue cable sleeves or the carbon anti-chip plate make the Nine something special. The test riders praised the pleasantly sporty riding position and the balanced handling characteristics; the bike is more in its element going uphill than downhill. The cockpit fits, the equipment is only average - the frame costs a budget. But there is room on the handlebars, thanks to the Matchmaker clamp. The gearing is not ideal with the 11-32 cassette.
ConclusionLightweight frame, great design, excellent handling. The Felt is the most expensive bike in the group, but one of the best. Visually the test winner!
