Focus has two main focuses in its extensive range: Race bikes with up to 100 millimetres of suspension travel and enduro bikes. The aluminium enduro bike SAM, which was presented for the first time last year, will have four instead of three models for 2015. The race range is divided into three bike models and two different wheel sizes. On the one hand, there are the aluminium (Black Forest) and carbon (Raven) hardtails, which are each available with identical equipment in the two wheel sizes 27.5 and 29 inches. There is also the Super Bud, a 100 mm fully made of aluminium, which Focus only offers in 29 inches.
Replica models from the sponsored professional teams are already old hat in the Focus road bike programme. Now, with the "Team Spec" models, the Focus mountain bike programme also offers the opportunity to hit the trails on the same equipment as the pros from the Focus XC Team (Raven 29R and Raven 27R) or Focus Trail Team (SAM). All three bikes retail for 5699 euros and are equipped with the same parts that are ridden in the XC World Cup and the Enduro World Series.
Which gears would the product manager screw onto his bike? Which handlebar width would the engineer prefer to have the best handling on his after-work ride? Which design would the marketing manager choose for his bike? The Focus employees have put their heads together and created a unique model series that runs consistently from the Black Forest bikes to the SAM. The so-called "Factory Spec" models. The result is simple bikes with well thought-out features at an attractive price. Exactly how the product managers see their dream bike. All models in this special Factory Spec range have two things in common: a 1x11 drivetrain from SRAM and the clean, grey design. The prices range from 1899-3499 euros. Below we show the exciting Factory models from Focus for 2015:
