It tracks true to the line and conveys enormous confidence. The good thing about it: this geometry does not have a negative effect on the uphill - the front wheel keeps good contact with the ground even on steep sections, and despite the 36 sprocket, the bike climbs willingly, as a small 34 chainring on the Shimano drivetrain at the front reduces the gear ratio sufficiently. The only drawback: the low-profile Rapid Rob tyres from Schwalbe. No other bike in the test runs with the Shimano E8000 drivetrain - it offers a great mountain bike riding experience. Also: the lightest bike in the test!
Conclusion: With its modern geometry and good fork, the Ghost has real take-off qualities. Best off-road capability in the test field.
