This doesn't quite offer the comfort and grip of the other bikes with 29 inch or Plus wheels. On the other hand, you get an agile vehicle with a low centre of gravity that responds to steering commands in a willing and controlled manner. Thru axles stiffen the bike and ensure high steering precision. Full braking control is provided by two 180 mm Shimano discs. Nevertheless, there are a few points to criticise: the handlebars are narrow, the gearing is long and the Bosch Cruise drive is a little weak on the chest. The frame is relatively small for a size medium.
ConclusionWith its manoeuvrable handling on 27.5-inch standard wheels, the Uproc 1 is aimed at bikers with a pronounced play instinct.
