Cube replaces its successful Limited hardtails
Cube LTD hardtails are among the best MTB hardtails from 1000-1600 euros. From 2018, the Upper Palatinate company is replacing the affordable Limited models with the Reaction series with even higher-quality aluminium frames.

The Cube hardtails with the "LTD" suffix have always been good bikes, no question about it. Nevertheless, nobody will mourn the loss of this model series. Because with the new Reaction aluminium frame, which Cube will be offering in its bikes from as little as 1099 euros from the coming season, a worthy successor is waiting in the wings. The elaborately moulded tube set not only imitates the look of the expensive carbon bikes. The geometry is also based on its carbon fibre big brother. As with the new fullys, all cables are routed internally throughout. The continuous outer casing ensures less friction in the gear cable and protects it better against wear and tear when riding in bad weather. In addition, a seatpost with internally routed cables can be installed in each frame for activation. All Reaction models from Cube will feature the Boost standard from 2018. Heavy riders in particular will appreciate the additional stability provided by the thru-axles. The smallest frame size (15 inches) has 27.5-inch wheels, all other bikes roll on large 29-inch wheels. There will be a total of three models between 1099 and 1699 euros.

Cube Reaction C:62 Carbon

Cube has also revised the Reaction carbon frame for 2018. With a frame weight of 1150 grams (size 19 inches), the mid-range model comes very close to the Top model Cube Elite C:68 approach. The Reaction carbon frame has a slightly sportier geometry than the aluminium model. There are a total of six models between 1499 and 2999 euros with the new C:62 carbon frame. All frame sizes are supplied with 29er wheels.

Cube Elite C:68 Carbon

The frame of the Cube Elite remains unchanged. There will be four different models of the race hardtail between 3500 and 5999 euros. If you don't want to do without a suspension rear triangle in cross-country or marathon racing, the Cube AMS 100 race fully is still the right choice.

Cube Reaction Trail Motion

The Cube Reaction Trail Motion roams the territory of the somewhat more rustic trail hardtails. External distinguishing features are the wider 27.5x2.6-inch tyres, more suspension travel, the standard telescopic seatpost and the small chain guide.

New accessories from Cube

In addition to the numerous bikes, Cube is also producing more and more accessories. The new backpacks and shoes, which are specially tailored to the needs of bikers, were particularly striking.
