The colourful Conway comes with the handicap of having the heaviest frame (2140 grams). At 12.55 kilos, it is also the second heaviest bike in the test field, which is noticeable on the climbs. Due to the short head tube (120 millimetres), there is a lot of saddle rise and the short seatpost quickly reaches the limit of its adjustment range. Despite the slack 69 mm steering angle, the Q-MR 600 is manoeuvrable, but it gets a little nervous on high-speed sections. The 660 handlebar looks narrower than it actually is due to its pronounced offset. In terms of equipment, the Conway fits into the overall picture of the test group - average. Good: five-year warranty on the frame and paintwork. Only the chainstay protector is missing on the comfort and touring-orientated bike.
Conclusion: visually flashy, inconspicuous in practice. The Conway is well suited for moderate tours.
