A striking feature of the EMR are the Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres in Plus format. With these tyres, even steep ramps and loose surfaces are easy to ride on.

Despite the thick tyres, the bike remains surprisingly manageable. Good: You sit in a relaxed position, but the front wheel rises late. However, there is a lack of attention to detail. The chain rubbed against the tyre in the lowest gear and the chainstay guard was so short that the chain visibly maltreated the chainstay at tyre level. The suspension fork struggled with functional problems and was unable to fulfil its full potential. A 160 mm brake disc is too small for a bike in this weight class. Nevertheless, the bike cut a very good figure in the riding test.

ConclusionConway doesn't fully exploit the potential of the EMR 327+ due to a few flaws, but thanks to plus-size tyres and good geometry it scores enough points for a top rating.
