Bulls presents the revised Tokee Disc 24 for the 2026 model year. The children's hardtail is aimed at young bikers who are looking for more than just an everyday bike. The market for children's bikes has changed - away from the classic school bike with hub gears and towards sporty hardtails without accessories. This development is reflected in the new Tokee Disc, which is available in 24 and 26 inches.
The 24-inch model combines child-friendly geometry with grown-up technology. According to Manufacturer Bulls the bike impresses with modern components that would be hard to find on comparable MTBs for adults in this price range. The construction is based on the classic hardtail design and deliberately dispenses with a pannier rack or lights. Bulls wants to achieve a lower weight and better riding characteristics as a result. The manufacturer gives the weight as 10.2 kilos.
The newly developed aluminium frame forms the heart of the Tokee Disc 24, with Bulls fully integrating all cables and lines into the frame. This solution protects the technology from damage and gives the bike a tidy appearance. The construction complies with modern standards, which are also used for high-quality adult bikes.
The rear wheel mount is a special detail. Bulls designed this specially to guarantee precise alignment. The system prevents the quick-release axle from being installed at an angle - a common problem with cheaper children's bikes. The frame geometry is orientated towards the proportions of young riders and enables a natural riding position on different surfaces.
The drive components come from Shimano. The Cues gear system offers nine gears - one more than the previous model. The entire gear range is longer and covers both steep climbs and fast descents. The gears work with a trigger lever that is also easy for children to operate.
An air suspension fork from Lytro with 80 mm travel absorbs bumps. The fork responds sensitively and at the same time saves weight compared to steel spring systems. The suspension travel is sufficient for trails and gravel paths without making the bike sluggish. Adjustment is made via the air pressure and can be adapted to the weight of the young rider.
Bulls changes to its latest Mountain bike for children from mechanical to hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro. The new system clearly outperforms the old one in terms of modulation and low maintenance. Hydraulic brakes react more sensitively to manual pressure and allow better control of the braking force. The advantages are particularly evident on longer descents or in wet conditions.
The crank has a modern hollow axle instead of the square axle commonly used on youth bikes. This design reduces weight and increases rigidity. The Bulls wheels are designed to be robust and durable. In combination with Schwalbe Rocket Ron tyres, the Tokee is suitable for various surfaces - from road to trail to gravel.
The Tokee Disc 24 is available in two colour variants. In addition to Light Emerald, Bulls also offers a Fuchsia Purple colour. Both colours are aimed at young riders who value an appealing design.
